Congratulations to Dr. Phạm Hồng Tuấn Nam - Department of Health Examination on Demand for receiving the Phạm Ngọc Thạch award for the 9th time in 2025

On the evening of February 26, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union organized the exchange program “Illuminating the Dream of the Medical Field” and presented the 9th Pham Ngoc Thach award. The Pham Ngoc Thach award, named after Labor Hero, Professor, Doctor Pham Ngoc Thach, has been implemented by the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union since 2009, to honor young physicians who actively participate in the exemplary young doctors campaign, excel in their profession, possess good moral qualities, enthusiastically join social volunteer activities, actively study and follow the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh.

With dedication and responsibility in his work, Mr. Pham Hong Tuan Nam – Department of Requested Health Examination at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital not only excellently fulfills his professional duties but also actively participates in charitable activities, spreading the image of a young, enthusiastic medical officer ready to contribute to the health of the people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, recognized and highly praised the efforts and contributions of the young medical team in recent times.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Tuấn Nam expressed deep gratitude to the hospital's leadership and teachers who have always provided conditions for him and his colleagues to develop professionally. He said: "I personally feel very honored to receive the Pham Ngoc Thach Award – named after the Labor Hero, Professor, Doctor, Dr. Pham Ngoc Thach - the first Minister of Health, a physician for the people. I would share this joy and honor with the teachers, colleagues, and youth volunteers who have guided, accompanied, and supported me not only in professional development but also in completing work. This is a collective achievement of solidarity, continuous striving of the group of volunteers, medical staff of the University Hospital of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy HCMC."
