Dear Nursing, Midwifery, and Medical Technology staff of the University Hospital of Ho Chi Minh City,

International Nursing Day on May 12 each year is an occasion for the whole world to honor the dedicated contributions of nurses – those who provide health care throughout the treatment and recovery journey of patients. On behalf of the Hospital Management Board, I sincerely extend to all nursing, midwifery, and medical technology staff of UMC a heartfelt thank you for the efforts, dedication, and compassion you have been giving to patients every day.

The theme welcoming International Nursing Day 2025: "Nursing in the Future – Dreams Within Reach" is a strong affirmation by the UMC community that the future of the nursing profession is being built day by day, through your professional, creative, and inspiring actions today

The World Nursing Organization continues to call on nations to focus investment on developing nursing human resources – the largest workforce in the health sector and a crucial role in determining the quality of the health care system.

At the University Hospital of Ho Chi Minh City, I am always proud that our nursing, midwifery, and medical technology team continuously innovates, learns, and unites to provide optimal care quality for patients. Unity and a spirit of service are the solid foundation for a modern and humane UMC nursing system.
