Job Description

  • Perform surgeries in the operating room.
  • Conduct outpatient clinic examinations.
  • Participate in hospital on-call duties and external emergency as assigned
  • Responsible for treating patients during working hours
  • Prepare and complete patient records for scheduled surgeries.
  • Conduct evaluation of forms as required
  • Monitor and handle non-urgent, non-emergency patient issues, including scheduled surgical cases
  • Explain disease condition, treatment plan, discharge to patients/family, and specialist consultation interventions
  • Communicate with nursing staff to coordinate treatment plan, monitoring, and patient care
  • Report to department head/vice-head on the status of assigned patient area
  • Present cases to department head/vice-head during department rounds as required
  • Perform specialized therapeutic procedures on patients, adhering to infection control principles
  • Classify severe patient conditions, monitor, administer transfusions… requiring special care
  • Prepare, attend, and present cases at department, interdisciplinary, and external consultations
  • Participate in departmental professional meetings: report on on-call sessions and progress of assigned patients
  • Participate in hospital-wide meetings and periodic professional activities
  • Complete technical procedure checklists as required
  • Present professional lessons learned and case reviews as directed by department leadership
  • Participate in assigned consultation clinics
  • Receive and examine admitted patients, provide treatment orders and follow-up
  • Handle emergency and urgent cases in the department
  • Finalize pre-operative preparation for scheduled surgical patients
  • Conduct evaluation of forms as required
  • Present cases for surgery approval to department head/vice-head
  • Explain pre-operative details to patients/family and obtain surgical/procedural consent
  • Present cases at oncology meetings and be responsible for explaining the results to patients.
  • Refer patients to other departments for examination.
  • Specialist examination
  • Perform outpatient procedures/minor surgeries.
  • Perform blood typing and cross-matching before transfusion.

Requirements

  • Graduate with postgraduate degree, preferably resident physicians, specialist doctors level I, or Master of Medicine in Surgery
  • Professional practice license
  • Doctors with over 3 years of relevant specialist experience or work at Level 1 hospitals
  • English proficiency: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 65, TOEIC (Reading & Listening: 650, Writing: level 5, Speaking: level 6)
  • Proficient in office computer applications
  • Good communication skills
