Geriatrics Department - Palliative Care

Job Description

  • Provide geriatric care, postoperative care for elderly patients during hospitalization and discharge.
  • Advise and develop palliative care plans to improve the quality of life and psychological well-being of patients and their families throughout the disease course.
  • Encourage patients and their families to feel reassured and confident during treatment.
  • Examine and manage internal medicine conditions of elderly and postoperative patients, control symptoms in end-stage patients;
  • Conduct outpatient examinations and treatment for elderly patients at the Palliative Care Clinic and Geriatrics Clinic;
  • Participate in Geriatrics–Palliative Care consultations, preoperative internal medicine examinations in various departments;
  • Provide on-call service for Geriatrics – Palliative Care.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree preferred; residency physicians, Level I specialists, or Medical Masters in Geriatrics or Palliative Care, or related fields.
  • Physicians with more than 3 years of relevant specialist experience or work at top-tier (Level 1) hospitals.
  • Professional practice license
  • Holding a Palliative Care training certificate.
  • English proficiency: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 65, TOEIC (Reading & Listening: 650, Writing: level 5, Speaking: level 6).
  • Proficient in office computer applications.
  • Good communication skills.
