Thoracic Department - Vascular

Job Description

  • Responsible for treating patients during duty hours
  • Examine patients at least twice daily, accompany nurses for rounds each morning
  • Examine new patients in assigned area, complete dual medical records within 24 hours
  • Prepare and finalize patient records for those scheduled for surgery
  • Perform evaluation of forms as required
  • Monitor and manage non‑urgent, non‑emergency patient issues, including program surgical cases
  • Explain disease condition, treatment plan, discharge to patients/family, specialist examinations, and consultations
  • Communicate with nurses about treatment plans, monitoring, and patient care
  • Report to department head/vice‑head on patient status in assigned area
  • Present cases to department head/vice‑head during departmental rounds as required
  • Perform specialized treatment procedures, adhering to infection control principles
  • Classify severe patient conditions, monitor, administer intravenous therapy… requiring special care
  • Prepare, attend, and present cases at departmental, interdisciplinary, and external consultations.

Requirements

  • Graduate with postgraduate degree, preferably resident physicians, Specialist I doctors, or MD Masters in Thoracic Vascular Surgery.
  • Professional practice certificate
  • Doctors with more than 3 years of relevant specialist experience or working at Level 1 hospitals.
  • English proficiency: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 65, TOEIC (Reading & Listening: 650, Writing: level 5, Speaking: level 6).
  • Proficient in office computer applications.
  • Good communication skills.
