Urology Department

Job Description

  • Responsible for treating patients during the working hours
  • Examine patients at least twice daily, visit patients together with nurses each morning
  • Examine new patients in the assigned area, complete double medical records within 24 hours
  • Prepare and finalize patient files for those scheduled for surgery
  • Conduct assessments of forms as required
  • Monitor and handle non-urgent, non-emergency issues related to patients, including program surgical cases
  • Explain the disease condition, treatment plan, discharge to patients/family, specialized examination interventions, and case conferences
  • Communicate with nursing staff to coordinate treatment plans, monitoring, and patient care
  • Report to the department head/vice head on the patient situation in the assigned area
  • Present cases to the department head/vice head when attending department-wide rounds as per regulations
  • Perform specialized medical procedures on patients, adhering to infection control principles
  • Classify severe patient conditions, monitor, administer transfusions… requiring special care regimens
  • Prepare, attend, and present cases at department-wide, multidisciplinary, and external conferences.

Requirements

  • Graduate with a postgraduate degree, preferably a resident physician, specialist level I, or a Master of Medicine in Urology
  • Professional license
  • Physicians with over 3 years of relevant specialty experience or work at top-tier (Level 1) hospitals.
  • English proficiency: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 65, TOEIC (Reading & Listening: 650, writing: level 5, speaking: level 6).
  • Proficient in office computer applications.
  • Good communication skills.
