Ceremony of Appreciation and Announcement of Decisions on Re-appointment and Assignment of Managerial Staff

On the afternoon of June 24, 2026, University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City held the Ceremony of Appreciation and Announcement of Decisions on Re-appointment and Assignment of Managerial Staff. The event was an occasion to recognize the contributions of the managerial staff in the process of building and developing the Hospital, while also strengthening the management personnel at specialized departments.

In recognition of many years of steadfast contribution, the Hospital expressed its gratitude to Assoc. Prof. Vo Tan Duc, MD, PhD – Former Head of the Department of Radiology. Over more than 20 years serving as Head of Department, he dedicated great effort, wisdom, and responsibility to leading the Department of Diagnostic Imaging's development, helping it become one of the Hospital's leading specialized units. The Hospital wishes him continued good health, happiness, and hopes he will continue to accompany the Hospital's development.

In addition, the Hospital announced decisions on re-appointment and assignment for three managerial staff members:

• Dr. Lam Quoc Trung, MD holds the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Oncology Chemotherapy and has been assigned to head the Department of Chemotherapy.
• Dr. Le Phi Long, MD, PhD – Deputy Head of the Department of Thoracic – Vascular Surgery, has been assigned to head the Department of Thoracic – Vascular Surgery.
• Dr. Le Duy Mai Huyen, MD, PhD – Deputy Head of the Department of Radiology, has been assigned to head the Department of Diagnostic Imaging.
