Prof. Dr. Lê Khắc Bảo appointed as Deputy Director of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City

On the afternoon of April 11, 2025, the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City organized a ceremony to announce the decision appointing Associate Professor Dr. Lê Khắc Bảo to concurrently serve as Deputy Director of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital (BV ĐHYD).

Attending the program, representing the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City were: Prof. Dr. Trần Diệp Tuấn – Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the University Council; Associate Prof. Dr. Ngô Quốc Đạt – Deputy Party Committee Secretary, University President; Associate Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Văn Chinh – Member of the Party Standing Committee, Vice President; Associate Prof. Dr. Vương Thị Ngọc Lan – Vice President; MSc. Dr. Nguyễn Hoài Phong – Member of the University Party Standing Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee; together with esteemed teachers as members of the Standing Committee, Party Committee Executive Board of the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City, the University Council and leaders of the Departments, Faculties, and Centers of the university.

On the hospital side, there was the participation of Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoang Bac - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Party Secretary of the hospital department, Hospital Director; Hospital Management Board; Dear teachers are members of the Hospital Department Party Executive Committee, Former Hospital Management Board, Expert Committee, Trade Union Executive Committee, Youth Union Executive Committee; leaders of Departments, Facilities, Centers, Faculties, Units; Chief Nurse, Head Midwife and Chief Technician; along with civil servants of grade I, grade II and grade III who are Party members.

In a directive speech and assignment, Professor Dr. Tran Diep Tuan said: "With the orientation to develop Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy into a leading university nationwide, we need to build and affirm the position of the University Hospital as a model practice hospital – a place to train high-quality medical human resources and play a leading role. I am confident that, with extensive experience, the newly appointed Deputy Director Le Khac Bao will, together with the Hospital Management Board, establish an effective management system in training activities, contributing to the development of the University and the Hospital."

Speaking upon assuming the duties, Associate Professor Dr. Lê Khắc Bảo expressed gratitude to the generations of teachers who have laid the foundations and developed the Hospital, creating conditions for future generations to have the opportunity to contribute in a modern, professional, and humane environment.

He extends deep gratitude to the Party Committee, the School Council, the School Administration Board, the Medical Education Center, and the Hospital Management Board for trusting him with this responsibility; at the same time, he commits to striving to fulfill the assigned tasks well; he is ready to learn, listen, and continuously improve himself to comprehensively develop the image of a physician – teacher – administrator, contributing to building the ĐHYD Hospital into a model teaching hospital of the nation’s leading university.
