Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy organizes free medical examinations and medication distribution for residents affected by floods in Hòa Xuân commune - Đắk Lắk Province
On the evening of 26/11/2025, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy officially set out to Hòa Xuân commune – Đắk Lắk province, to implement the free medical examination and medication distribution program for residents affected by the Central Vietnam floods.
The program is a meaningful activity, strongly demonstrating the spirit of community service and mutual aid of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, joining hands with organizations and individuals to care for the lives of people in difficulty after the impact of the floods.
School leader representative, Associate Professor Dr. Ngô Quốc Đạt – the Rector, expressed pride in the medical staff, esteemed teachers and students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy who are ready to set out to contribute when mobilized and deployed to prepare resources in an extremely urgent timeframe; thereby conveying: “We hope the delegation will have a safe, healthy journey and excellently accomplish the tasks of this special trip.”
Returning to Hòa Xuân commune – Đắk Lắk province, the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City hopes to provide practical and timely medical support to the locals. Specifically, on 27/11/2025, doctors will organize medical examinations and distribute free medication to 1,000 residents affected by floods in the area. In particular, the delegation will also offer health care counseling and provide necessary medical knowledge, contributing to helping residents recover health after the natural disaster.
