Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital is honored as a model construction project of the City
On the afternoon of 26/4/2025, at the City Youth Cultural House Hall, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction organized the Announcement Ceremony, honoring 50 exemplary construction projects/projects clusters on the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2025). Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital is honored as one of the exemplary projects recognized at the event.

Located at 215 Hong Bang, Ward 11, District 5, the hospital is built on a land area of 8,747 m², with a constructed area of 3,482 m², and a total floor area of 47,160 m², comprising 15 above‑ground floors and 2 underground levels. The project has a strategic location, conveniently connected to major medical facilities and the urban transportation system.
Designed by Yooil Engineering & Architects (South Korea), the hospital features modern, robust, and harmonious architecture, optimizing functionality according to international hospital standards. The project belongs to Group A, special level, meeting the needs for medical treatment, education, and scientific research for Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region.

Currently, the hospital receives over 8,000 outpatient visits each day, operating modern emergency, operating room, and inpatient systems. In addition to treatment quality, the hospital also focuses on building a green, friendly working environment for staff and workers.
This event recognizes the continuous efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in its journey to improve healthcare quality, serve the community, and contribute to the sustainable development of the city.
