Within the series of events, BV ĐHYD organized a scientific conference with the theme “The Digitalization Journey of Electronic Medical Records: The Role and Experience of UMC Nursing”. The conference took place, following the launch ceremony of the Nursing Professional Documentation Package, creating a vibrant and meaningful atmosphere for the nursing community in particular and healthcare staff in Vietnam. The program attracted a large number of participants, including experts, doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers from across the country. This is a valuable opportunity for delegates to share, discuss, and learn about the application of standardized practice procedures that have been digitized into daily nursing care. Consequently, it not only enhances the effectiveness of patient care performed by nurses but also contributes to improving the quality of health care for the public.

The topic of electronic medical record digitization is now becoming an important trend in the global healthcare industry. At the conference, the speakers emphasized the essential role of nursing in this process. Nurses are not only caregivers but also pioneers in adopting new technologies, contributing positively to improving the quality of healthcare services. Practical experiences from implementing electronic medical records at BV ĐHYD were shared, painting a clear picture of the benefits and challenges the healthcare sector faces in the digital transformation journey. In addition to sharing knowledge, the conference also organized experiential activities, allowing delegates to directly experience and operate on a sample electronic medical record. This not only helps them better understand how the system works, but also feel the improvements that digital technology brings to patient care. Opinions and feedback from the delegates showed a high consensus on the feasibility and benefits of digitizing electronic medical records in healthcare.
