There are currently many nursing terminology systems widely used worldwide, such as the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA), Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC), and NIC. Among them, NIC is a standardized nursing intervention classification system using a common language, intended to describe nurses' actions in patient care uniformly, regardless of specialty scope, healthcare facility characteristics, or different patient groups.
