Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital and KT Group, South Korea

On 26/10/2021, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital (BV ĐHYD TPHCM) the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Hospital and KT Group, South Korea took place. The purpose of the signing was to establish a cooperative relationship between the two parties in training, enhancing the professional expertise of the BV ĐHYD TPHCM doctors; developing the information technology system and launching screening clinics, health care for the Vietnamese people and foreigners living in Vietnam.
Attending the program were Prof. Dr. Trương Quang Bình – Vice Director of the Hospital and representative of the leadership of functional departments. From the KT Group there were Mr. Sungwook Moon – Deputy General Director and Mr. Youngchul Kim – Chief Executive Officer, KT Hanoi office. At the same time, the program was attended by Mr. Sungwook Kim – Head of External Relations, Bundang Hospital – Seoul National University.
Representing Ho Chi Minh City Tropical Diseases Hospital, Prof. Dr. Trương Quang Bình said: “With the goal of becoming a smart hospital, Ho Chi Minh City Tropical Diseases Hospital wishes to receive professional training and strongly develop its information technology system in the hospital. During the exchange, Ho Chi Minh City Tropical Diseases Hospital found that KT Group’s capabilities align with the hospital’s development direction in expertise, as well as health check-up systems, hospital management, and electronic medical records.” Prof. Dr. Trương Quang Bình hopes the cooperative relationship between the two sides will be successful and bring the best healthcare to patients and the community.
Mr. Sungwook Moon shared: “With over 100 years of operation in the telecommunications field, KT Group continues to diversify its activities related to healthcare, manufacturing, and education. Within the framework of cooperation between the two entities, KT Group believes this is an opportunity to strengthen the development of the healthcare sector in Vietnam. The Group will strive to ensure the project brings many successes, worthy of the Hospital's trust in the Group.”
