The First TAVI Conference in Vietnam: Embracing a New Era in Aortic Valve Treatment

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. TAVI, one of the most advanced interventional cardiology techniques, has been proven to be the preferred solution for patients with severe aortic valve stenosis who are at high surgical risk. However, currently this technique is still not widespread in provincial healthcare facilities, and its implementation lacks uniformity nationwide.

Therefore, the highlight of the conference is the first professional consensus meeting in Vietnam on TAVI, where experts reach agreement on clinical indications, patient selection criteria, interventional center standards, the role of the Heart Team council, and post-procedure care protocols.

Presentation of live case studies, updating new techniques

One of the most distinctive parts of the conference is the live case presentation sessions, broadcast directly from major interventional centers in Vietnam.
