University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City leaves its mark at the "Medical Communications Ambassador - KMOLs 2026" Awards.

On May 22, 2026, at the "Medical Communications Ambassador - KMOLs 2026" Awards Ceremony organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City left its mark with numerous individuals and teams honored and recognized in categories related to medical communications and public health education.

The event was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Health, medical experts, doctors, educational institutions, media units, and various healthcare organizations nationwide. According to the Organizing Committee, this year's season received over 130 nomination dossiers from hospitals, universities, medical facilities, and health communication organizations across the country.

More than just a recognition event, the "Medical Communications Ambassador - KMOLs 2026" Awards highlighted the increasingly vital role of medical communications in the context of a rapidly developing digital environment. Today's medical teams not only perform diagnostic and treatment duties but also participate in shaping public awareness and helping curb health-related misinformation in cyberspace.

Notably, the "Medical Communications Ambassador - KMOLs" Awards evolved from the inspiration of building the "KMOLs community doctor ecosystem" deployed by University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City in recent years, aiming to build a network of medical experts capable of effective digital communication.

At the program, University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City made its mark with multiple individual and institutional nominations honored and recognized by the Organizing Committee. These nominations spanned various fields—from accompanying patients and health education to sharing professional expertise on digital platforms—reflecting the increasingly proactive participation of physicians and medical staff in community communication activities.

Among the honored categories: 

✨ Movement Disorders Unit - Department of Neurology was honored as Companion Communications Ambassador. 

✨ MSc. Đỗ Thị Nam Phương - Head of the Communications Center was honored in the Creative Communications Ambassador category. 

✨ BS CKII. Đặng Thị Kim Huyên - Department of Respiratory Functional Diagnostics was honored in the Medical Communications Ambassador category.

Additionally, other hospital nominations left deep impressions and were warmly acknowledged by the Organizing Committee for their efforts in sharing medical knowledge and connecting with the community through close, creative, and humane formats, including:
