Phòng Điều dưỡng được thành lập năm 2001. Tiền thân là Tổ Điều dưỡng thuộc Phòng khám đa khoa thuộc Trường Đại học Y Dược Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (1994).

Development Orientation
- Applying a multimodal model in nursing staff management based on workload assessment activities tailored to specific specialties, organizing management and coordinating human resources by competency levels, and integrating a support model in patient care to replace family caregivers.
- Integrating patient assessment tools and determining priority care interventions through standardizing the documentation system into the nursing electronic medical records.
- Pioneering research on measuring nursing care performance and comparing it globally by applying standardized data recorded in nursing electronic medical records.
