Guide to Cashless Hospital Fee Payment

1. PAYMENT METHODS

1.1. Payment via the UMC Care App

Open the UMC Care app to pay for:

  • Consultation fees
  • Diagnostic and paraclinical service orders
  • Prescriptions (with or without Health Insurance)
  • Hospital fees

1.2. Payment via QR Code

Scan the QR code to pay for:

  • Diagnostic and paraclinical service orders
  • Hospital fees

1.3. Payment via E-wallet

Supported e-wallets include MoMo, ZaloPay, VNPay, Viettel Money, etc.

Applicable to:

  • Consultation fees
  • Diagnostic and paraclinical service orders
  • Prescriptions
  • Hospital fees

1.4. Payment via Bank Transfer Using a Unique Payment Account Number

Enter the designated payment account number to pay for:

  • Diagnostic and paraclinical service orders
  • Hospital fees

1.5. Payment via Multipurpose Patient Card

Top up your Multipurpose Patient Card and use one-touch payment for all eligible services at the Hospital.

1.6. Payment via POS Terminal

Use an ATM/debit card or credit card to pay hospital fees.

2. PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

2.1. VIA THE UMC CARE APP

Step 1: Log in to the UMC Care app.

Step 2: Select “Hospital Fee & Prescription Payment.”

Step 3: Select the patient profile.

Step 4: Select the payment category:

  • Service order
  • Prescription
  • Inpatient hospital fees

Step 5: Select the service order, prescription, or hospital fee notice you wish to pay.

Step 6: Select a payment method:

  • Bank account via Mobile Banking
  • E-wallet
  • Bank card / International card
  • QR Code
  • Apple Pay (Vietcombank, Techcombank, MB Bank, VPBank, ACB, VIB, BIDV)

Step 7: Enter the required information, if applicable.

Step 8: Confirm the payment.

2.2. PAYMENT VIA QR CODE

Step 1: Open your banking or e-wallet app.

Step 2: Select the QR code scanning function.

Step 3: Scan the QR code printed on the service order or hospital fee notice.

Step 4: Verify the payment amount.

Step 5: Confirm the payment.

2.3. PAYMENT VIA BANK TRANSFER USING A UNIQUE PAYMENT ACCOUNT NUMBER

Step 1: Open your banking app.

Step 2: Enter the designated payment account number shown on the service order or hospital fee notice.

Step 3: Enter the payment amount.

Step 4: Enter the transfer description/reference as instructed.

Step 5: Confirm the transaction.

2.4. PAYMENT VIA MULTIPURPOSE PATIENT CARD

Step 1: Present your Multipurpose Patient Card at one of the following locations:

  • Diagnostic and paraclinical service areas
  • Accounting transaction counters
  • Pharmacy payment counters

Step 2: Staff will verify and confirm the payment information on the Patient Card before proceeding with the requested service.
