Inpatient treatment process

The patient is given a hospital admission order by the doctor when necessary. A nurse or medical secretary will provide a preliminary consultation on the total expected treatment cost and room charges. After that, the patient receives the “Admission Form – Pre-admission Consultation Slip” and proceeds to the Treatment Department to complete the admission procedures.

1. Hospital Admission Process
+ Submit the required documents for admission procedures
+ Receive counseling on the expected treatment costs, procedures, insurance payment options, and types of rooms…
+ Pay the advance fee.
+ Meet with a doctor for examination and carry out any required clinical investigations. For patients scheduled for surgery, the doctor will assess the risks, issue orders to consult specialists (if needed), evaluate nutritional status, and determine the level of care. Patients without a surgical indication will be guided for inpatient treatment as per the doctor's orders.
+ Receive a room and be advised about room amenities, hospital rules, visitation policies, and other services available at the hospital…

2. Required Documents for Admission Procedures
+ Admission form
+ National ID/Passport, Birth certificate (if a minor)
+ Health insurance, health insurance referral form, other insurances covered by the hospital's fee guarantee program (if any).
+ Medical records as requested by the doctor (test results, imaging diagnoses, prescription…).

3. Discharge Process
+ After receiving a discharge order, receive “Discharge Paper”, cost statement, prescription, and follow‑up appointment card.
+ Pay the hospital fees at the Department’s Accounting Desk.
+ After completing the discharge procedures, the patient is instructed on medication usage, diet, monitoring, home care, and the scheduled follow‑up.
