Humanitarian blood donation is an annual activity of BV ĐHYD, attracting positive interest from the team of doctors, medical staff and Youth Union members of the Hospital. This activity not only holds profound humanitarian significance but also contributes to providing valuable reserve blood supplies for the blood bank, offering timely support for treatment work.

CNĐD. Pham Thi Thu Dong, a staff member of the Urology Department and a member of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of DHYD Hospital, is one of the outstanding volunteers of the program. Nurse Thu Dong not only participates in the organization but also directly donates blood, sharing: “Besides my professional work caring for patients, I always wish to participate in meaningful activities such as humanitarian blood donation. This is a humane act, helping patients in a practical way. Today I am very happy to be able to donate 350ml of blood, more than before. I hope I can spread the spirit ‘One drop of blood given - One life remains’ to everyone around and the community.”

The volunteer spirit of medical staff like CNĐD. Thu Dong has strongly inspired, creating a positive wave in charitable activities at DHYD Hospital. Blood donation is not only an act of kindness but also demonstrates the noble social responsibility of the medical team, who are always dedicated to community health.

The blood donation program of ĐHYD Hospital has become a regular activity, contributing significantly to treatment and saving patients' lives. Not only does it take place within the hospital, the event also attracts support from partners and the families of patients.

The donated blood units not only bring hope of life to patients but also spread a message of love and unity in the community. With the slogan “One drop of blood given - One life remains,” ĐHYD Hospital continues to affirm its role in community activities, leaving a mark in the celebration of its 30th anniversary.
