Spreading love, boosting the heartbeat

On May 17/2025, at the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Department of the University Medical and Pharmacy Hospital of Ho Chi Minh City (BV ĐHYD), the VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) together with the Vietnam Heartbeat program and the Life Scar program visited five children with congenital heart disease who received surgical cost support at the hospital. These are cases from provinces such as Tây Ninh, Bình Dương, Bến Tre, An Giang and Da Nang, who are in particularly difficult circumstances, and are being lovingly treated and cared for by the hospital's professional team. The program includes participation of actress Ngô Thanh Vân – Ambassador of the Vietnam Heartbeat program, Life Scar program and families.

Handing out small gifts and kindly encouraging each child, actress Ngô Thanh Vân could not hide her emotion when witnessing the revival journey of these fragile young hearts: “Seeing the children undergo successful surgery, become healthy again and be able to continue a normal life is the greatest motivation for me to continue this journey. I always hope for more compassionate hearts and sponsors to accompany the program. The list of children awaiting heart surgery is still very long, let us join hands to save more precious little hearts.”
