University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City: Humanitarian Blood Donation, Spreading Love
On the morning of 14/12/2024, the atmosphere at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City (BV ĐHYD) was filled with a spirit of sharing as the humanitarian blood donation program was held. With 150 staff members and volunteer workers participating, the program received 189 units of blood, each drop containing hope and life for patients in critical condition.


Humanitarian blood donation is a meaningful activity that BV ĐHYD maintains every year, CN. Triệu Thị Trà My - Science & Training Department of BV ĐHYD, shares with proud eyes: "Today's blood donation session is truly meaningful. The precious drops of blood not only save lives but also spread the spirit of sharing, bringing people closer together. The atmosphere of the program is very warm and thoughtful, making me feel proud to contribute. I hope that more and more people will participate to bring hope and life to patients in need of blood."
CNĐD. Lê Thị Yến Nhi - Infection Control Department of BV ĐHYD, is a person who has been long associated with blood donation activities. She shares emotionally: “Blood donation is a small act but carries great significance. Knowing that my blood can help someone overcome danger, I feel happy and proud. Each time I donate blood, I feel a deep connection with the community, as if I am contributing to building a better society. I hope more people will join hands, because even a single drop of blood given can bring an entire life back.”
