Strength
Each year, the Department cares for about 25,000 patients, of which endoscopic surgery accounts for 60% in most specialties. Anesthesia, intensive care, and analgesia techniques for various types of surgery: general, cardiovascular, thoracic‑vascular, neurology, pediatrics, trauma‑orthopedics, plastic‑aesthetic, ENT, obstetrics‑gynecology, colorectal, ophthalmology, maxillofacial‑dentofacial surgery, and day surgeries.
Procedures outside the operating room such such as gastrointestinal endoscopy, intravascular intervention units, imaging diagnostics (MRI, CT‑scan, ultrasound). The Anesthesia‑Intensive Care – Specialized Surgery groups: open‑heart surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, organ transplantation, endoscopy, … enable patients to access advanced treatment methods worldwide, providing maximum safety.

Anesthesia‑Intensive Care technicians Advanced equipment serves medical examination and treatment. The hospital is equipped with a system of 24 modern operating rooms with state‑of‑the‑art equipment, fully supporting all anesthesia, intensive care, pain management procedures and all types of general and specialized surgeries. The operating room system is scientifically designed with a continuous structure connecting the pre‑operative room, the operating room, and the recovery room, ensuring safety and efficiency during surgery for patients.
Temperature, humidity, and lighting in the operating rooms meet standards. The positive‑pressure air supply system and advanced HEPA air filtration work continuously to minimize contamination. The operating room floor is coated with specialized vinyl, dust‑free and antimicrobial. All these factors combine to ensure successful and safe surgeries.
Training & Research
The core value of the Department is a team of doctors and medical staff devoted to patients. “Modern – Quality – Safety” is the guiding principle that the Department aims for to become the leading Surgery, Anesthesia‑Intensive Care and Pain Management Center in Vietnam, meeting international standards, providing patients with the highest trust and safety.

The Anesthesia‑Intensive Care Department also actively participates in training and teaching anesthesia technicians, bachelor's degree in anesthesia‑intensive care at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
The Department develops Anesthesia‑Intensive Care – Specialized Surgery groups; closely collaborates with Surgical specialties to improve postoperative recovery quality (ERAS). Additionally, the Department continuously conducts scientific research, applying new techniques to diagnosis and treatment, as well as serving as a practice site for surgeons of various specialties.
The department intensifies cooperation with international hospitals such as Asan Hospital in South Korea, National University Hospital in Taiwan, … to access advanced treatment protocols worldwide. At the same time, it transfers technology to hospitals in provinces such as Gia Lai, Can Tho, Binh Duong, … to share experiences, new methods, enhance expertise and improve the quality of care and treatment.
