The original form was established in 2024, under the Department of Dermatology – Cosmetic Dermatology, University Medical and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City, specializing in the application of modern Laser – Light – Wave technology in skin treatment and aesthetics, combining clinical care, training, and research according to evidence-based medicine standards.

In addition, it offers certificate courses on “Basic Thread Lifting in Skin Aesthetics”, “Filler Injection in Skin Aesthetics”, “Basic Skin Care Techniques”, and many continuous medical education (CME) programs related to dermatology and skin aesthetics. Moreover, it regularly collaborates with other departments at Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital or the Dermatology Department of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy to provide updated CME programs and additional certificate courses such as “Laser, Light, High‑Frequency Waves and Focused Ultrasound”, “Dermatologic Procedures and Minor Surgery”, “Botulinum Toxin Injection in Skin Aesthetics”.
