Another strong highlight of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department is the Prenatal Diagnosis Unit (CĐTS), as it is the department's spearhead. The CĐTS aims to early detect common pregnancy‑related diseases as well as fetal congenital anomalies through popular techniques such as ultrasound, combined with modern screening and genetic diagnostic techniques for chromosomes or genes of the baby, such as non‑invasive (NIPT) or invasive methods like chorionic villus sampling or amniocentesis.
