On 22/01/2025, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City (BV ĐHYD) organized the “Warm Spring - Shared Tet” program to visit and present 40 gifts to policy families and young workers in difficult circumstances in District 5.
In the spirit of celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (03/02/1930 – 03/02/2025), fostering the spirit of remembering one’s source and social responsibility. This is a meaningful occasion to demonstrate the Hospital’s care and sharing with the community, as well as to educate the thoughts and morals of the youth members in the Hospital.
The program involved Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Hoàng Định – Deputy Director of BV ĐHYD, MSc. Đặng Anh Long – Chairman of the BV ĐHYD Department Union, the BV ĐHYD Youth Union, representatives of the District 5 Youth Federation Committee, along with policy families and young workers in difficulty in the area.
Speaking at the program, Associate Professor Đặng Anh Long shared: “We hope these gifts will be a source of spiritual encouragement, bringing a bit of warmth in the early days of spring. This is a connection of love, demonstrating responsibility and the heartfelt dedication of the hospital staff and officials to the community. We are proud to have a group of enthusiastic youth volunteers, always aiming for high and beautiful humanitarian values. We hope this spring will bring confidence and strength for everyone to overcome difficulties.”
The program has brought a warm, festive atmosphere, full of joy for patients and their families, and also spread messages of love, humanity, and sharing in society. The activity not only affirms humanitarian values but also aims at social work for the community that the Hospital always strives for.
