Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital honored among the top 50 exemplary units with flagship brand and product of Ho Chi Minh City

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification (30/4/1975 – 30/4/2025), on April 15, 2025, at the headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City organized a ceremony to honor 50 exemplary enterprises – units with leading brands and products of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital (BV ĐHYD) is honored to be one of the 50 units recognized at this event. This prestigious title acknowledges the hospital’s persistent efforts, continuous innovation, creativity, and positive contributions to the nation’s health care, as well as the sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City, deserving its status as a teaching hospital of a leading Vietnamese university and meeting international standards.

The program was launched by the City People’s Committee with participation from businesses and units not belonging to the business sector. The criteria and scoring system are systematically constructed, public and transparent, focusing on categories: brand value, professional competence, social responsibility, innovation and sustainable development. The evaluation process is carried out by a council of experts to ensure objectivity and representation.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Bac – Hospital Director shares: “The healthcare sector of Ho Chi Minh City is undergoing a strong and comprehensive transformation – from primary healthcare systems to specialized, from preventive work to treatment and rehabilitation. These coordinated efforts not only improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, but also significantly enhance the quality of life of the people.”
