Ministry of Health delegation visits and congratulates University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City on the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day

On the morning of February 15, 2025, the Ministry of Health delegation led by Comrade Đỗ Xuân Tuyên – Party Secretary, Standing Deputy Minister of Health, as Head of the delegation, visited and congratulated the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City (BV ĐHYD) on the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025).

The delegation was received by Associate Professor Dr. Ngô Quốc Đạt – President of the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City, the Board of Directors of BV ĐHYD, together with the leaders of the units within the Hospital.

During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Health Đỗ Xuân Tuyên highly praised the results the School and the Hospital have achieved in recent times. Deputy Minister Đỗ Xuân Tuyên wishes the School and the Hospital to continue investing in training and developing high-quality medical human resources; he also emphasized that each medical staff member is not only a doctor but also a teacher who passes on experience to the next generation.

On Vietnamese Doctors' Day, February 27, Deputy Minister Đỗ Xuân Tuyên sends wishes of health, happiness and success to the staff and workers of the School and the Hospital. The Deputy Minister hopes the collective will continue to promote the tradition “Medical generosity like a mother's milk”, contributing to the development of Vietnam’s healthcare sector.
