Responsible for treating patients during the operational period

Examine patients at least twice a day, and conduct rounds with nursing staff each morning

Examine new patients in the assigned area, complete double medical records within 24 hours

Prepare and finalize patient records for those scheduled for surgery

Perform evaluation of forms as required

Monitor and handle emerging issues related to patients in non-urgent, non-emergency cases, including program surgical cases

Explain disease condition, treatment plan, discharge to patients/family, specialist examination interventions, case conferences

Communicate with nursing staff about treatment plan, monitoring, and patient care

Report to department head/vice head on the disease situation in the assigned area

Present cases to department head/vice head when attending department-wide rounds as per regulations

Perform specialized treatment procedures for patients, adhering to infection control principles

Classify severe patient conditions, monitor, administer transfusions… requiring special care regimes

Prepare, attend, and present cases at department-wide, interdisciplinary, and external conferences.

Receive and examine admitted patients, assign to department, provide treatment orders and follow-up

Handle emergency and urgent cases in the department
-
Complete pre-operative preparation for patients scheduled for program surgeries

Perform evaluation of forms as required

Present cases for surgery approval to department head/vice head

Provide pre-surgical explanations to patients/family, obtain surgical/procedural consent

Present outpatient oncology cases at case conferences and be responsible for explaining conference results when patients are admitted

Refer patients to other departments for examination

Perform outpatient procedures/minor surgeries

Conduct blood typing and cross-matching prior to transfusion
