Gastroenterology Department
Job Description

Responsible for treating patients during working hours, examining patients, explaining the condition to patients and their families, providing treatment orders and monitoring care.

Examine patients at least twice daily, conduct rounds with nurses each morning

Examine new patients in the assigned area, complete dual medical records within 24 hours

Perform evaluations of forms as required
-
Monitor and address non-urgent, non-emergency issues related to patients.

Explain disease condition, treatment plan, discharge to patients/family, specialist examinations, and consultations

Coordinate with nurses on treatment plans, monitoring, and patient care
-
Monitor and sign off on patients' test results.

Report to department head/vice head on the disease situation in the assigned area
-
Present cases to the department head/vice head during full department rounds as required
-
Perform specialized treatment procedures on patients, adhering to infection control principles
-
Classify severe patient conditions, monitor, administer transfusions… requiring special care regimens
-
Complete documentation when patients are discharged.

Prepare, attend, and present cases at department-wide, multidisciplinary, and external consultations.
Requirements
-
Graduate with a postgraduate degree, preferably resident physicians, specialist doctors level I, or MD/PhD in Internal Medicine or Gastroenterology.

Professional practice license
-
Doctors with over 3 years of relevant specialist experience or work at top‑tier (Level 1) hospitals.

English proficiency: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 65, TOEIC (Reading & Listening: 650, Writing: level 5, Speaking: level 6).

Proficient in office computer applications.
