Orthopedic Trauma Department
Job Description

Responsible for treating patients during duty hours
-
Visit and examine patients at least twice a day, accompany nursing rounds each morning
-
Examine new patients in the assigned area, complete dual medical records within 24 hours
-
Prepare and finalize patient records for those scheduled for surgery

Conduct assessments of forms as required
-
Monitor and address non-urgent, non-emergency issues related to patients, including scheduled surgical cases

Explain disease condition, treatment plan, discharge to patients/family, specialist examination interventions, and case conferences
-
Communicate with nursing staff about treatment plans, monitoring, and patient care
-
Report to department head/vice-head on patient status in the assigned area
-
Present cases to department head/vice-head during full department rounds as scheduled: Tuesday and Friday mornings weekly

Perform specialized treatment procedures on patients, adhering to infection control principles
-
Classify severe patient conditions, monitor, administer intravenous therapy…requiring special care regimes.

Prepare, attend, and present cases at full department, interdisciplinary, and external hospital conferences.
Requirements
-
Graduate with postgraduate degree, preferably resident doctors, Specialist I physicians, or Medical Masters in Orthopedic Trauma

Professional practice license
-
Doctors with over 3 years of relevant specialist experience or work at Level 1 hospitals.

English proficiency: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 65, TOEIC (Reading & Listening: 650, writing: level 5, speaking: level 6).

Proficient in office computer applications.
