Clinical Practice Training Program for Nursing

Projected enrollment periods in 2025:

University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital Ho Chi Minh City (215 Hong Bang, Cho Lon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City)

• Theoretical: in-person learning at the Hospital Lecture Hall/Auditorium;
• Practice: at the Clinical Departments, Units.

• The practice schedule will be arranged by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital Ho Chi Minh City to allocate a reasonable number of trainees across departments at the same time;
• Theoretical learners will be organized in a direct teaching format;
• Trainees will participate in intensive, full-time practice for 6 months and be on duty at the Departments as per the Hospital's regulations;
• Trainees must not miss more than 20% of theoretical lessons and 10% of total practice time;
• Practitioners are allowed weekly rest according to Hospital regulations, department duty schedule, and the practice supervisor's plan;
• Practitioners must not miss more than 06 (six) days in the total 06-month practice period. No more than 03 days of cumulative leave at a single department;
• If practice must be halted due to health reasons or other force majeure, the practitioner may suspend practice for up to 12 months and retain previous practice results.

• Application form for practice at a medical examination and treatment facility;
• Copy of nursing diploma (certified);
• Copy of citizen ID card (certified);
• Copy of electronic ID card (in VNeID app) printed on A4 paper (no certification required).

• From the date the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital Ho Chi Minh City issues a value-added tax invoice to the practitioner, the refund of practice fees will only apply to cases requesting a pause due to force majeure;
• Terminate the practice contract if the practitioner unilaterally stops practice for more than 03 days without notifying the Hospital in writing;
• After completing the practice period and meeting the requirements for professional competence and ethics, the practitioner will be issued a Certificate of Completion of the practice process by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital Ho Chi Minh City;
• The practitioner is responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs during the practice at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital Ho Chi Minh City.
