Infection Control Class 03 months, batch 04

Infection Control Class 03 months, batch 04

Hospital-acquired infections (HAI) are an unwanted consequence in the practice of diagnosis, treatment and patient care. HAI increases disease incidence, increases mortality rates, prolongs treatment time and especially raises treatment costs. HAI appears at high density in medical facilities that do not strictly adhere to aseptic practice procedures and where knowledge and attitudes about infection control among health staff are limited. Therefore, health personnel, especially those in the infection control field, need to be trained and equipped with full knowledge to cooperate with other specialties, ensuring infection control and patient safety in care and treatment.
